Problem with delivery update

I've sent an item via royal mail which the buyer has received. 

But ebay status is saying the item has not been posted.

Any help

If you used eBay's Simple Delivery it marks the item dispatched and adds tracking,  so it should be showing item posted.

Or did you use your own postage and not Simple Delivery labels?

Hi I have posted two items with Royal Mail tracked delivery yesterday and they were delivered to the buyers today in under 24hrs, Royal Mail tracking shows delivered and also shows photos of the delivery, yet like you on eBay it has not updated at all and looks like it hasn't even been posted to the buyer, this has to be yet another tec issue with eBay, I think we need to contact eBay to let them know so we don't get a defect for late postage, has anyone reported the problem?

There is currently an issue with Royal Mail tracking information not being pushed through to eBay.  There have been several other posts on this subject.  It is a problem at Royal Mail's end, not with eBay, as it isn't only eBay that is affected.

Even if the tracking doesn't update to show delivered on eBay you will still receive the payment.  Provided you aren't subject to any payment holds the payment will be released automatically 14 days after the date on which the order was placed.
