I'm selling books, postage included, postage only.
The postage stated £3.38.
I clicked on 'postage or collection in person' to see the difference.
Went back to postage only and now the postage was £3.98.
I clicked on 'collection only' to check the difference. Went back to postage only and now it states the postage is £4.48 and it won't go back to £3.38.
What is happening?

Have you already filled in the price, and if so what is that price - excluding BPF?
Which carriers have you turned off in https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/prf/simpledelivery
What size and weight band have you selected for the item?
Other than the first question - it won't necessarily explain why the figure changes but it should help determine what is the correct price.

I just sold a small item and the listed postage cost was 3.38 and that’s what the buyer paid.
it’s small and can never be overweight.
I however was charged 3.55.
its not much but I’m extremely miffed in principle.
ghrrrrr

All of your recent sold items show Simple Delivery @ £3,38 with 'Buyer pays postage' selected, i.e. not Free Postage. With Simple Delivery eBay just provides you with a prepaid label, in this case paid directly to eBay by the buyer, so you don't actually get charged anything. £3,55 is the price you would pay if you bought the postage yourself from Royal Mail. So, where exactly are you seeing the £3.55?

I was in simple delivery and it showed different fees. Don't know what happened - maybe a glitch - but I've now added some more books and it all seems to be fine. Thanks to everyone for your feedback.
