Postage hiccup

I’m confused my buyer has selected ROYAL Mail 2nd class delivery @ £3.95 but I have charged her delivery £1.55 on the recommendation of eBay, what can I do?

Re: Postage hiccup

Whichever label she chose she will have paid for.   Buyer pays postage to ebay.

Re: Postage hiccup

What you have sold (rimmel lipstick) was listed with Custom postage at a price point of £1.55

You will have received £1.55 to pay for this postage. You didn't have to charge £1.55 - could have charged more.

What you are now seeing is the recommended postage you should buy from ebay via their postage options.

You do not have to use their postage optiosn - you can purchase your postage outside of ebay.

Re: Postage hiccup

£1.55 is Custom Postage, Royal Mail Standard Tariff Large Letter Up to 100g, so the buyer has paid you for the postage, not eBay, and you now need to buy the postage label.  If you elect to buy the postage label on eBay it will default to Large Letter Up to 1Kg (the lowest size for Tracked postage) so you need to change the size to Large Letter Up to 100g to bring up the correct rate.
