Item I sold delivered to neighbour - buyer wants a refund

I sent a parcel via Royal Mail 48 tracked this week and it has been delivered a street away from the buyer. There is a photo of it in the doorway of the wrong house.

I'm struggling to get hold of Royal Mail support to try and locate it as you have to spend a long time on hold.

I can't claim compensation on it yet as it isn't considered lost for another 5 days. It could also turn up considering someone in the neighbourhood has it or they may contact their postie/send back to me.

The seller wants a refund. Is this correct at this time? It was only due for delivery today. Do I tell them to go through eBay?

Yes, they need to raise the issue through ebay.  Don't refund until you get a message from ebay
