So I have an issue and maybe this may be part of me being suspicious after my previous experience.
I sent an item through GSP via royal mail tracked 48. I checked the tracking number and I see that north west midlands MC received the item on 21st March at 21:19 but just now eBay themselves just emailed me saying that my parcel has been processed and shipped from their global shipping center to destination on the 24th March at 11:34am.
My issue is that how is it that they processed my parcel when according to royal mail they have yet to receive it as the tracking still say its in transit from north west midlands MC? is it a case that royal mail just doesnt scan in anything at the start of the week due to backlog of packages from the weekend? Coincidentally another GSP order from last year was exactly like this, sent on a Friday, north west midlands MC received it on a Saturday and GSP dispatched item on a Monday, and the royal mail tracking even as of now still say its in transit. The only difference is that the customer received the wrong item which resulted in them getting a refund and me keeping my fund because of GSP protection. Has anyone experienced this before? they if their customer ending up receiving the correct or wrong item?
I have noticed that when I track the pitneybowes tracking in universal parcel tracking, it does show that the weight of the parcel is 18g heavier than what I sent (which could very well just be additional labels that was stuck during the time it was processed at global shipping center) so I have confident that they actually shipped out the correct item.
