GPSR - Soooo I sold an item by accident to Europe (Bus Seller) and it arrived no problems

Right then, a couple of weeks ago something happened to one of my postage policies which reset my country exclusions and before I knew it, I had sold an item to Italy.

I once again updated my exclusions to include NI and EU but chanced sending the item to italy through GSP and it arrived on Saturday in Italy without an issue.

My question is, is there anything actually stopping us selling to the EU, as there doesn't appear to be checks happening at customs or is it if the item breaks down that it then becomes an issue?

As my items are mainly replacement parts, that shouldn't really be an issue for me. But I understand other items might be more of an issue.

I've lost about £300 per month not selling to EU and NI.

If it went through the GSP program, it would have gone by the Midlands main branch. If they are unsure of anything it gets opened up and then checked and then re packaged.
