Exemption from Simple Delivery for items under £10 and 100g

This is a quote from EBAY:

Items which can still use untracked service: There are a few categories of items where we’ll still permit untracked services if that’s your preference. This includes letter-sized items that meet both of the following criteria: they weigh up to 100 grams and are priced at a maximum of £10, excluding buyer fees.

When I try to sell list some very small (2g or less) items at prices averaging £5 or £6, there is no option for any postage less than £2.74 for an up to 1 Kg Large Letter. On chatting with an agent, I was told to go to the 'Simple Delivery' section, click on 'Package Size' and then scroll down to option "switch to custom postage". There is no such option, just 5 weight/size options, starting with the 1 Kg Large Letter and going up to 20 Kg parcel. This could not be resolved, so I'm now waiting for a specialised team who "will investigate your concern and send you a reply via email within 5 to 7 days." Any one got any info on this in the meantime? I was just hoping to be able to post small stuff as before using Royal Mail's 2nd class 87p or £1.55 service. If I can't,  it means the buyer pays more, so probably less inclined to buy, or I pay more on something I'm not making much of a profit on as it is.  I'm a private seller by the way.

Use the title postcard and it should default to custom listing automatically with 87p on it

then change the title and category

worth a try

the switch to custom option appears for some and not for others for some strange reason so nothng wrong with trying a workaround imo

I take it you’re not getting this on delivery section but just in case you are you click that

Re: Exemption from Simple Delivery for items under £10 and 100g

customer services said to me  ### I was able to understand that you would like to letter pot to your listing however as the listing is already active the same cannot be changed as the listing was added to "Simple delivery". Here I would request you to please end the listing and relist it using custom postage. I hope this helps. ### i still can not get the letter post option or advanced options so can not list my small cig cards and old listing have £2.74 post on a £3.50 item ?
