Ebay stop ramming Simple Delivery down our throats! If we aren't interested stop forcing it!

So I ended all my listings.

Disabled Simple Delivery... and set them all to Custom Delivery.

I dont own a smartphone, I dont wish to use a QR code, I dont own a printer. I write my envelopes and take them in person to my local village post office.

Auctions end with sale, I relist..... Ebay forces Simple Delivery back on again!!

End auctions early.. change again backl to Custom Delivery....

Auction ends..I relist. Ebay forces Simple Delivery!

But now.. when I select Custom delivery I'm told... No Simple Delivery is THERE! preferred option.

Who cares!

Im not using Simple Delivery.. If i cant use Custom Delivery... Ill stop selling on your platform, because it no longer provides the seller experience it did!.

Control Control Control.... eBay you are a sinking ship.

Its becoming mandatory over next two weeks. There will be no way of opting out of simple delivery. When that happens ill be unlisting everything too.

Likewise. I've had a good run on eBay ( over 20 years), but will be ending all my listings when Simple Delivery becomes the only system to use. Buyer Protection is a big enough scam, but this takes the biscuit.

the perfect solution. I agree.

I've already killed off most of my listings... once the last few have cleared as international orders

my account will also be closed also.

I don't understand any of it!  I use RM tracked 48 and the postman collects from my door and brings me the label.  I don't have a smartphone and I live in a rural area and cannot get to the local Post Office easily.  I know how much the postage costs me and offer free postage on my listings to simplify things.  My listings currently still show my custom postage.  I've read through various threads on here but still have no clue what happens when Simple Delivery is implemented!

When Simple Delivery comes in you can only have your items collected by Royal Mail if you are able to print the label first.

With no smartphone or printer you wont be able to send anything unless you pay for postage yourself.

eBay are attempting to have a system where RM will bring a label but this is not confirmed yet.

You can get printers quite cheap these days even charity shops sell them..they don’t have to be fancy

ok the ink can be dear but you can still get good deals ..can I say it ? yes here…you only need just black cartridges ..

just saying if it’s a choice of getting a printer or stop selling if you have a lot of stuff and you could afford it get a printer

packets of printer paper are about £5 in Tescos etc

and when eBay finally get round to sorting home collections with postman bringing a label you won’t need to buy those supplies anymore

I suggest you make a listing and select simple delivery and go through the process to learn about it a little. Then just delete the listing. I still have no clue though about insuring something over the  50 pounds option.
