Delivery QR code is not being emailed to me

The last 2 packages that I’ve been forced to send by simple delivery have not generated an email containing the QR code that I need to present to the post office.  As a fail safe I do also save the QR to photos but if there are multiple packages this could cause some confusion. I HATE SIMPLE DELIVERY
