Cancelled Order in April when Simple Delivery was first introduced!

So after 4 attempts with eBay CS I seem to be no nearer a resolution over a Month later !!!!

I listed an item which defaulted to Simple Delivery back in April (when it launched) so when the item sold for £120 the Simple Delivery cost for postage from eBay was £3.42, I went to PO they scanned my QR code then said it wasn’t enough to cover postage costs !

So I had to cancel the order and gave a full refund and expected my postage costs back at some point !

I did originally list the postage as FOC due to the price of the item as an incentive but obviously I was charged for the simple delivery which would have been fine if the PO had accepted which obviously they didn’t !

So as we head torwards June why don’t they understand they need to refund me ?

Last CS chat I got a link for a refund but guess what as it was over 14 days so they wouldn’t process it 🤦‍♂️

I’ve been on eBay for 22 years and the way the corporate eBay bull*bleep* machine is working ( Buyer protection and Simple

Delivery)  is it time to quit and stick two fingers up to them ?

Anybody else had a similar experience?
