I sold a reciprocating
cordless saw with no blade included, yet I still needed to choose age verification postage for bladed item costing me £3 more than buyer paid in postage.
why?

Because ebay don't check the listing in detail manually.
You listed the product in saws and included the word saw in the title. Logic would suggest that it has a blade IN MOST INSTANCES. Yours doesn't, but how would ebay know?

How difficult to add section to listing
Blade included yes/no
What if I sell a Saw handle, or chisel handle or scalpel blade holder?
All of these can hold a blade, but don't actually have a blade included, not only do you have verified age when first bidding each and every time you but, all would need extra postage cost for age ID
Ludicrous

Need to look harder next time, and or they make it easy to find.
