eBay holding my money hostage??

I’ve been selling for the past 2-3 months on eBay and recently I’ve been told that my account was restricted for account safety which I understands, so I went to appeal this because they said in the email that it’s appealable. I went ahead and gave them a call and they told me that my account was permenantly suspended because they’re waiting for my “old items” to become to old to stop functioning, and then once the buyer reports this to them, they will refund the money to the buyer and the buyer can keep my item?? This was all said in the call, and this is the exact words that came out of the customer services mouths. I want my suspension lifted immediately, as I was wrongly accused of account and platform insecurity, I will hopefully be able to recover the money and indefinitely press charges against this platform. Do not sell items on eBay!! I repeat don’t sell items on eBay!! This is happening to most new sellers and their holding accounts hostage and the money they’ve earned and stealing the money once the buyer reports something wrong with the item you sold. I hopefully can get the attention of a eBay Moderator and hopefully they’ll realise the mistake they’ve made.

This didn’t help honestly it’s just a article about what to do if your account gets temporarily suspended but I was indefinitely suspended for no reason.

Re: eBay holding my money hostage??

That all sounds very odd. You've probably already thought of these but just in case:

Try calling again - maybe in a few days and hopefully speaking to someone else, to explain the issue - hopefully they make more sense.

31 days after your last sale - if there's no cases still open on your sales, then it's too late for any more to be raised (in my understanding), so tell them they won't need to do any more refunding.

If you haven't had any cases raised on what you've sold, I've no idea why they have done this.
