Year to date is £1603 i have sold 30 or more items. Do i need to to give hmrc details?

Hello everyone i have been checking the forums and reading the all of the debates about giving details. Wje  i check my year to date total. I am not at the £1700 limit. I am a private seller. Do i simply just stop selling now or will i have to pay tax on the £1600 I have made so far?

If thats the case i will simply use my ebay to just buy things.

Kind regards

Whether you pay tax or not will be very much dependent on what you are selling.

but if it’s your own second hand goods clearing out the house, you likely will not owe anything
