Undoing a refund, as a buyer

Hi, weird one for you!

I purchased and paid for a watch, which arrived faulty. Perfectly acceptable conversations with seller, neither of us could fix it, and I was promptly refunded the sales cost whilst being allowed to keep the watch (on the seller's request, not mine; I was happy to return).

I've received my refund, but having now been able to speak directly to the manufacturer after festive closures, a new watch is on its way to me.

I want to still pay the seller, as I've ended up with the intended product, but have already been refunded. How do I go about doing this? I can contact them, but understand this goes against eBay rules in terms of making a payment outside of eBay. I don't want them to incur any costs though, for getting paid twice.

How do I go about doing this?

TIA

There is no way of repaying a refund on ebay.   You'd have to use something like Paypal.
