Hi.

My payout gone to the wrong bank account, account which one is not existes anymore.

After a few days and sh... boot chat, I realised that. Then I changed my account details to correct account number but still no payout. No messages on my account, no human to talk to, nothing, only that my payout was paid but to wrong bank account.

What now????

Check your correct bank details are registered here:

eBay may wish to verify that the correct account is registered, you can appreciate for security reasons to be sure you have added that account and so they are sending payouts now to the correct bank account.

Verification is usually made with 2 micro deposits being sent to that account for you to receive and confirm back, this can take up to 5 days to appear.

If there is still no movement of the payout or micro deposits appearing contact Customer Services.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

If your payout has been sent to a bank account that no longer exists then the funds will bounce back to eBay but it can take some time for that to happen. Ebay won't reattempt the payout to your new account until they have received the original funds back.

No micro deposits or correct money on my account.

I spoke with the advisor on the phone, but he didn't understand my problem, hung up and didn't call again.

I have ebay account from 15 years, the account where money gone is closed from 4 years and I am not using for paying for the ebay goods.

I am very disappointed that no one is able to tell me... Where are my money?!

Ow, and even that I changed my surname is still showing my mother surname not my at the moment. I changed this 7 years ago.

One month and no money on ebay or on the old bank account. Like they disappear.

I can see a few issues here that you have now told us.

Your name on your eBay account must exactly match that on the bank account you have registered, but have you registered the new bank account with eBay's Managed Payments? It seems not, if in an earlier post, you say you have not received any micro deposits.

Check your name and new bank account are correctly registered in your Site Preferences >> Personal Information.

You may need to contact Customer Services ( I have provided the link in my post above), ask them to send 2 micro deposits into your new bank account so you can confirm this back to them for verification.

Hope this will be sorted for you soon , many changes involve a series of verifying those details, which take time, eBay wish to be sure they have correct details so money can be released to the correct member.
