I initiated a self payout just over 5 business days ago (to the exact hour) and still have not received the funds to my bank account. It is still in “In Progress” on the payouts screen.
Wondering if this is normal as I believed it would take only a maximum of 4 business days.

Thank you for the reply, however I have sold on eBay before with the same account with items of similar value and have had no issues regarding payout times.

You may have sold here before but as you haven't sold for a while Ebay will probably have placed a hold on your payments,this can be anything up to 30 days.

This is nothing to with any payment hold as you were able to initiate the withdrawal. 'In process' means that the payout has been initiated but not yet sent to your bank account. Presumably, you have already set your bank account up for payouts and it has been verified? If that is the case and it has been over 5 business days since you initiated the payout then I would suggest contacting customer services to find out what the issue is. You can request a call back using the following link and I would recommend doing so first thing in the morning so that you get someone from the team in Ireland who are more knowledgeable and have greater authority:

8am to 10pm on weekdays and
9am to 6pm on weekends
Payout statuses are the same for business and private sellers. Here's an explanation of each payout status:
Tracking your payouts is simple. We’ll send you an email to let you know that we’ve initiated a payout. Additionally, each payout has its own unique Payout ID, making it easy for you to keep track of your funds.
We also provide a bank reference ID for each payout, so you can track your payouts with your bank if you need to. You can find your bank reference ID in Payout details in Seller Hub.

If you initiated your payout and after 5 business days it is still showing as in progress, just to be safe, we recommend contacting our customer service team from here, so they can look into it for you and assist you further. While we would love to assist over here, when it comes down to payouts, it can be very specific for someone to provide advice, and for privacy and security reasons we are unable to provide further assistance.
