Getting paid

Here we go again with this - it's utterly exasperating! I sold an item and elected NOT to use this new ENFORCED postal system within ebay. The item is marked as Dispatched and has been acknowledged as received by the buyer. The buyer has also left completely satisfactory feedback. However, the buyer has no means by which to notify ebay that he he has happily completed all transactions therefore without that acknowledgement ebay will not pay me my funds. As usual, attempting to contact a human at ebay is proving impossible. Any suggestions out there gratefully received. Thanks in advance. This used to be an easy, user-friendly method of transacting but is appallingly bad now, to the extent that this is the very last time I will sell with them.

If tracked you'll get paid  2 days after delivery, if not you have to wait 14 days.

Only expectation is you are new to selling or returning to selling then you have to wait up to 21 days. 

Other reasons can also apply but these are the most common.

Hi and thanks for the response. Clearly it isn't tracked as there is no method by which I can ADD TRACKING! Nor is there any way that the buyer can provide receipt details other than posting, in this case, positive feedback. In my opinion this is yet another hurdle put in the way of people to deny them their payments for as long as possible. What could possibly be wrong with allowing someone to use a private method of postage and allowing them to provide tracking? Utterly stupid and unimaginably annoying. This lot ought to be wearing masks.

That is your opinion and you entitled to it. I disagree I believe the payment change is for the long term good of the buyer.

And is no different than any other selling site apart from ONE.
