E-bay balance withdrawals on demand not working.

I am having problems with the new e-bay balance system.  I have funds cleared and available for withdrawal but the system doesn't appear to be working and I can't withdraw my money.  I have contacted E-bay by telephone and the agent I spoke with has passed the information I gave him to the I.T. team.  I find this all very frustrating as the previous system worked perfectly and by now my funds would have been in my bank account.  For information, as I explained to the agent, I can get a page up showing my funds are available for withdrawal.  I can then tap on withdraw and another page comes up that seems to freeze showing a zero balance.  At the bottom of this page there is a bit that says "send my money now" but as the page appears frozen this does not respond.   This problem happens on both my laptop and on the E-bay app.  I have been a member of E-bay for about a year and have been very pleased with the way things operate up until now!   So I would very much appreciate a swift resolution to my issue.

This could be down to today being a Friday and it's eBay's maintenance day.

Many things are just not possible especially early on in the mornings here,  when it's still early hours in eBay HQ in CaliforNIA.  There,  they are tweaking and installing new systems which makes things go awry here from time to time.

Try again a little later on,  use a laptop and Chrome and I'm sure things will be back to norm.

Mmmm,  what do you see when you select Payments >>  Summary?

Do you not see a big blue banner with your available funds ,  and another  arrow  >  ?

Click on the arrow >  on the pop up page that appears,   scroll right down past all the examples how to use eBay Balace to another  arrow >  Withdraw... found at the very bottom.

Use a laptop perhaps and Chrome, see if that works.

I can get the blue banner with the arrow no problem, I tap the arrow and up comes my balance etc.  I scroll down to withdraw and tap on that - then we hit the problem.  The next screen says "Available for withdrawal"  Then below it says "Payout amount £0.00"  Then below that it says "Amount available : £---- (my available amount).  Then it says "Send to bank account ending in ---- (my last four digits on bank a/c number).  Below that it says "Total payout £0.00.  Then at the bottom of the screen it says "Send my money now".  But this page does not respond and seems frozen so we hit a brick wall!  I have tried on my laptop via chrome and also browsing "incognito" as suggested by  the e-bay team and also on the app.  Nothing works.

Are you using Safari? As the tech team are aware of " teething" issues with this browser - can you try a different browser?

I'm not on safari.  I have tried google chrome/internet explorer all to now avail.  Also tried on the app on my phone which is Samsung Galaxy using Android.

Still trying to get to the bottom of your issue!

Go back to a laptop and Chrome perhaps clear cahce and cookies,  even log out completely and log back in... let's start from scratch!

Then,  with the following,  tell me at what point you do not see what I'm describing....

Click on Payment >>  Summary.. you may need to log back in here,  even verify through an email or text that it's you.

In the blue banner do you see Funds Available    £***

There's a >  forward arrow click on that.

Another pop up page appears.

Scroll to the Very bottom past all the options to where you see click on >  Withdraw Funds.

Where in the above do you get stuck,  or not see those prompts, as said ditch that phone / app use a laptop / PC  and chrome,  I realise you've done this before, but start from scratch logging out , back in clear those C & C's !

ebay withdrawal system is definitely not working for "technical reasons" according to their agent. He initially claimed it would be resolved within 48 business hours, which in their schedule he advised is actually 84 hours. But when I asked for that to be confirmed in writing he then said it might be 5 business days. He then said it might go beyond that. So, no access to funds at present, no timescale for resolving the problem and of course they won't be pssing on their customers the additional interet they receive due to holding on to customer's money.

I had the same problem, opting out of seller hub solved it.

I have exactly the same issue as you, very frustrating when you have a lot of money that your trying to withdraw.

I purchased something yesterday and it took it off the withdrawal balance but still not the point.

imagine all the interest eBay are making off all this money stored up, the customer service for them is ridiculously substandard.

You cannot earn interest on digital money, as you cannot on physical cash, so ebay wont be making any interest. If you think otherwise you need to mention this to the Bank of England, to correct them.

Not working for me either. Greyed out. Raging, as why fix something that was working perfectly OK? Ebay clearly not making enough interest from sellers? 🤔

This new system sure has ' teething problems' and the answers seem to vary So much amongst members here.

Use a desktop, don't use one.  Use an app / no switch to a desktop.  Log out of Seller Hub, log into the new listing tool.  A variety of answers , no wonder peeps are angry!

However, it seems when a greyed out area is seen,  logging out of the Seller Hub and into My eBay selling,  then click on Payments >>  Summary>>  All transactions, seems to work for others.  Then the blue banner with any available funds appears, click on a few forward >  arrows, Withdraw,   when you come to a £0.00 manually enter there,  the amount you wish to withdraw.

You will be asked to log in again, even verify it's you asking for the withdrawal,  with the receving of a code by text / email  just for security reasons.

Done this, no withdraw facility. Have tried three different browsers including Chrome and get the same problem.
