I changed my bank account details last Thursday. It said it would take up to 48 hours. Funds were still not available so I contact customer support. Was told to try a different browser and it should then allow me to access funds. It didn't work. I was then told they would escalate the case and now it's saying it can take up to a week. The 1p has not come out of the account to verify and customer service seem to have no clue. I don't understand how they can withhold the funds so I cannot get the cash in the bank but I can spend it on eBay. Surely if this is purely down to preventing fraud the money should be on hold for everything. Also how can it take so long to verify the bank. I was relying on this money so I am worried with how long it could take if they keep changing the goalposts on time frames. Has anyone else had this issue?

This is really strange I was coming on here to ask the exact same thing. Updated bank details on Wednesday 48 hours was up on Friday spoke to someone and said sometimes it takes longer and then said by 11th should all be sorted yet still can't withdrawl my funds! So frustrating it's really hard to speak to an actual person aswell

Please note that updating your bank details could take up to 48 hours, and then verifying your bank account with the micro deposits could take up to 5 business days, while it might look similar, they're different processes that take different time lengths. The reason why it can take up to 5 business days for the micro deposits to hit your bank account, is just because they work as a normal bank transfer, and while it might not necessarily take the full 5 business days, it could take a few business days for them to show up in your bank account.
Once you receive them, you need to enter the amounts you received in your bank account into your eBay account, and that will verify your account. If you don't receive the micro deposits after 5 business days, please feel free to contact our customer service team, and they will be happy to look into it for you no problem.

Hi have you had any luck mine is still on hold and now I'm told 7-8 working days the goalposts just keep being moved. I've had the 1p go in and out of my account and still nothing. It's so frustrating.

Hi yes this morning I was able to withdrawl finally so mine took 8 days. I kept getting told different things and made a couple of complaints along the way!
