I have just started selling some pokemone cards recently on Ebay and I have sold a few so far but even though it says completed under the cards the payments are not in my ebay funds and are all saying pending. I'm a little confused about it all as I have had conversations with some of the buyers and they have said that they have decided the cards and are happy with them but I have not received any payments.

Payments are placed on hold for a security measure both for your account and for your buyer.

As you are a new seller,  eBay have none of your selling history,  so they need to see that a paid for item,  will be shipped and delivered to the buyer.  If you have tracking showing delivery,  this will speed up that payout, and it is sent to your bank usually within a few days.

This has to be in place otherwise anyone could come on eBay sell expensive items,  take the money and not post out the item.  Once you are established as a good seller posting out items promptly,  this hold stops,  and you can select a daily or weekly payout from your sales.

I have sold a few cards and in have tracking numbers on my ebay selling page and I have receipts from the post office showing i have sent them

Once you have a few more sales showing tracked delivery, eBay's long holds on your payouts will cease.

As above it's the norm for all new sellers to have this initial hold,  eBay wish to see a few items safely delivered.  For obvious security reasons , they will not tell you how many required.

Just keep selling,  with tracking showing delivery on your future items,  then payouts will be released sooner.

Just to add I've seen your items sold,  are under £10 in value.  Under the Simple Delivery rules, for  those items feedback received will also release payouts sooner.

As said,  the long hold will still apply as you are a new seller,  until more items are shown to have been delivered  promptly.

If you have tracking numbers ,put them in to the space on the sold listing where it says tracking number ,once the item has been delivered and the RM have scanned it to prove it ,you then have to wait a few days for payment, it is 2 days for long term sellers and a bit longer for new sellers .If the courier doesn't scan Item on delivery then you can hope that the buyer leaves positive feed back on receipt of item and then again you have to wait for payment .  Not all buyers leave feed back ,so if the item hasn't been scanned on delivery ,getting paid is not so easy and the new SD that ebay are forcing us to use has become a total nightmare for many .
