Hi guys use this section to introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you and your collection! 🙂

Hi my name is Alec and live in Scotland with my partner of 10 years. We have 3 chilldren who keep me young. 2 years ago i started collecting football stickers with my son after being advised by my doctor to take up a hobby when quitting smoking. And so my Panini obsession has been rekindled after all those years collecting Mexico '86 stickers as a youngster (Still my favourite album). Looking forward to talking with fellow Panini enthusiasts  🙂

Hi Alec i hope your group kicks off well i have joined as i often pic up some albums and stickers and would be able to put a link to the items i sell .

You will need to promote your site somehow as it is hard work getting a group up and running and takes time good luck mate .

Im a fellow Scotsman by the way and like you have 3 children 2 boys and 1 girl of 5 and a half months boys are 10 and 7 and im a huge Rangers fan And Chelsea fan and of course Scotland i collect programmes and autographs .

Hi there - I'm Pete, I've recently started to get back into Panini collecting after a couple of years break.

It's always been difficult to find any groups or forums for Panini fans, so I hope this group catches on and well done Alec for giving it a go and getting the group started.

I'm a Palace fan and season ticket holder, but only attend home matches. Time and money dictated this many moons ago.

Living in Surrey I can't really continue the Scottish theme, but I did have a wonderful 10 years living in sunny Edinburgh.

I spend a bit of time on ebay each day and hope to contribute to this group.

My name is Stuart, I live in Scarborough, Yorkshire. Been collecting albums only for last few years and have built up a decent collection of World cup, Euros and 80's general albums. I'm looking for a decent France 98, Euro 84 and 88, at least very good condition with no writing. Haven't got the 70 and 74 world cups like many as silly money.

Hi, just joined today. I didn't realise that eBay had forums. I am born and bred in Liverpool, and have always been a football fan. Season ticket holder at LFC for over 20 yrs. Started collecting panini around 1 year ago, and am mainly concentrating on the world cups and euro championships. Getting there slowly 🙂 I have been slightly side tracked by the Euro Football 1979 collection and the 1975 football clubs (my favourite collection). I will check this group regularly now I know it exists!

Welcome guys and thanks writing a wee bit a bit yourselve's. Hopefully you's will find here a good place to visit every now and then. It has been quiet of late but im sure it will become busier once the 2012 Album is released soon. Anyway check out the Donation section this has been a great place to obtain those stickers you may have been looking out for. Look for competitions in the future too.

Hi all,

been a member for a while but haven't actually introduced myself yet.

As I suspect several members on here are, I'm in my late 30s and my collecting heyday was around 83-88. Got a few complete albums and a few more I'm slowly trying to complete, when finances and my wife allows.

I recently tried branching out in to collecting non-football Panini albums. On the whole they're generally cheaper to get started with than the football collections but they don't really give me the same buzz as I didn't collect most of them when I was a kid.

I've been somewhat more succesful with my Roy of the Rovers collection (another thing I was avidly into in the 80s) and have recently finally managed to complete the collection of weekly comics and annuals. A proud moment!

The majority of my swaps are listed on the SwapStick site. Anyone else on there?

Hi Dan thanks for introducing yourself to the group. I was a avid reader of Roy Of the Rovers too back in the day (Hotshot Hamish and Mighty Mouse lol Great memories!). Wished i had kept those comics - if i remember right my mum took my whole collection (along with other comics ) to sell at a summers fayre and either sold them all (which i doubt) or binned many of them. I too have used Swapstick a few times, a really good site but not been on for awhile but would highly recommend it.

I just joined this group. I didnt know that ebay had theese kinds of forums and I just came acrossed it on coincidence. My name is andy and im from Norway. Seems like most of the lads here are british, so I'll hope you accept an outsider:)

Im in my late 20's and been collecting on and of for the past 5 years. It all started when I found me and my sisters album from italy 1990, then I got all my albums together (76,90, 94, 98) and found out that I wanted to try and complete the missing stickers, Only got usa 94 complete, but I am closing in on the others. Have bought 82, 02 here on ebay, but they are not complete. Also re-started collecting when germany 2006 was released., so Ive bought every album and collected stickers myself since then. Collect WC, and EC from panini. Miss all the EC from 80s and the two 70s album from the WC.

I do also collect merlin premier league albums from the 90s, since I was an avid collected on those in my youth, and british football is a big thing over here. Most of my merlin and panini albums are norwegian editions, but Ive given up collecting the missing albums in norwegian editions, so the rest is mainly UK.

Looking forward to the discussins with other collectors here, Ive got quit a few questions, so ill probably make a post later on somewhere.

Hope my english was understandeble.
