It has only been a couple of days, but I have a feeling the buyer doesnt want the item anymore. Maybe he didnt realise the distances in collection or its just not convenient.
I cant nag him but I want to get past this.

Aah, that's different then, for a vehicle of any type, caravans included, only cash or bank transfer is accepted, and the only safe method of payment. Never accept PayPal or a card payment for a vehicle sold on eBay.
Just complete that non payment case after 4 days of non payment as advised, and block the member from returning to mess up any more of your sales.

Assuming he hasn't paid you will be able to issue an Unpaid Item cancellation after 4 complete days. More info:

No he hasn't paid yet. I'll wait a few days. I did put cash on collection. Should I offer my paypal details etc?

Nooo, you do not give PayPal details, and there is no cash on collection now unless it's for a vehicle.
The buyer has to proceed through eBay checkout, pay by the various methods there, card payments, Google Pay. etc. you actually will not know the method of payment the buyer chooses, but they need to pay, as said, through eBay Checkout.
