vero policy violation

Hello all.

I've been sellng my car art on ebay for over 15 years and now being treated like a common criminal with 3 day suspensions. Two in the last month.

I sell personalised car art as posters, mugs, key rings. etc

You can choose your car colour and add reg plate details, so are unique to the buyer.

All of a sudden I'm getting items removed, this time a Volvo mug, (I've now removed my other Volvo

items as a precaution) VW have removed items too.

yet when I search for similar items, there are quite a few.

Any advice welcome as I may as well shut up shop if this keeps happening.

vero policy violation

One  thing  which is unfair is the way the message you received is written.  The claim the item is 'not authentic'  is not explaining the true issue here.

High brand items are protected by Vero Regulations and policies.  It was the brand owner, not eBay who asked for the removal of your item.

There are so many fakes of high brand items and impossible to check authenticty for online items,  even receipts can be faked, I know, my work took me to the Far East for decades , and fake receipts  made there, are impossible to tell from the real deal.

You may well see identical items listed,  the site is massive over 7 billion + listings on at any one time, so not possible to check every listing, and some slip the net and become listed.

Your items have been reported do not relist them,  you would face serious selling restrictions.

You can read about Vero's policies from a link at the bottom of most eBay pages.
