unable to sell

Made a listing to sell something and got the message below.

"You’re no longer able to sell on eBay

It looks like you haven’t met the minimum requirements to sell on eBay, which means you’re no longer able sell on the site. You should have received an email in your My Messages section of eBay about this selling restriction."

I checked the 'my messages' section, can't find anything. What am I supposed to do now?

Check your Account settings to see if anything needs verifying UK Bank Account/ Credit cards, telephone UK ID Photo etc.

that means you are banned for life from selling on eBay.

An educated guess is it's because you were selling digitally delivered items.

You have not sold for over a year so it's likely that the email you have been referred to was sent so long ago it is no longer in your inbox.

You had a high proportion of negative feedback and were selling electronically delivered items.  Ebay obviously don't want you back as a seller although you will still be allowed to buy items.
