unable to bid

Tried to bid £75 on a laptop this afternoon but when I went to "Review Bid" it errored and suggested contacting eBay developer. Meanwhile the auction ended and the laptop sold for £51 ! I am well p!ssed off. I am hoping to bid on another later but have no confidence in eBay's functionality!

Any ideas as to what's gone wrong?

No idea why it didn't take what could have ended up the winning bid.

Contact Customer Services see if they can see any limits to your bidding amounts,  or if there was a technical error running at that time,  there seem to be so many nowadays! 🙄

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I have never heard of an 'ebay developer'.

Nor had I until yesterday.

I've resolved the problem by rebooting everything the house and it is working now, but it is not very inspiring to be logged in and everything working as normal and then to have this show up when you try to bid. I usually try to bid at the last minute for obvious reasons and to be unable to bid defeats the purpose of an auction both for me and it achieves a lower price for the seller.

Still not happy!
