Hi had a usa buyer wanting some vinyl i am selling, but he is told he cannot buy or bid, all my settings are fine. Is there a reason apart from ebay and daft rules ??

Are you using GSP ?  Currently there are some restrictions for buyers,  because of the US tariffs.

Yes, it was ideal, ebay need to get their act together before they implode with daft changes

The idea of GSP was that all charges were taken up front,  so on arrival buyer had no more to pay.

Due to uncertainty over tariffs, it is impossible for ebay to take charges up front, or make exceptions for low value items, so no GSP TO USA.

Tariffs are not set by eBay but by President Trump!

There is nothing to stop you selling direct to buyers in the USA, it is easy enough and solves the problem, then any taxes are paid on receipt by buyer, individual State taxes are collected by ebay.
