seller requests a video of item to check malfunction, but needs my personal email to send it

Advice please, seller requests I send a video of malfunctioning item-probably to check that I am using it properly? Happy to do do but they need my personal email so I can send it, not happy about communications outside of Ebay. What should I do ?

You're permitted to exchange contact details once an item has been paid for, but you're not actually obliged to send them a video if you don't want to.

Are you still within eBay's 30 day return window?

No they don't, they not having your Email address won't stop you sending it.
