seller protection

I am a private seller so should have seller protection but why are e bay not helping under seller protection,i sold a 23 year old cd player listed as having a few marks please ask questions befor buying ,the cd player fully works and the remote with instructions and leads,the buyer put reason for return damaged during shipping so i asked on many occasions whats damaged or broken got no answer buyer says just its got a few marks,e bay have said i have to accept the return and pay full post plus return post,even the the return packing slip from buyer says return reason damaged on shipping.It got returned and fully works and no damage so reported buyer for abusing return sytem but e bay say i still have to refund full amount including the the return lable

it has ,i have gone to trading standards and have a case number ,e bay offer selling protection from people who abuse the return sytem,my returned cd player works fully as when i shipped it so reason for return on return packing slip says dammaged during shipping  so tested it on return i see no damage and it fully works as advertisedi asked the buyer a few times whats damaged or broken and got no reply buyer just said has a few marks,i am a private seller and like most private sellers cant afford to take loses from people who abuse the retun sytem, ebay have been no help under selling protection but are ok with making vast amount of money from sellers,if this keeps happening to sellers e bay will have no selling from me or others that have been done.

will do i have to go through all the terms and conditions but waiting for e bay to force me to make a complete refund including postage costs when this is done,i have to go back to trading standards and tell them e bay never helped with a false return claime cheers
