why are gaming sellers of digital items  demanding and forcing buyers to give collection codes first before giving items its disgraceful how many people are getting scammed this way their should be a warning put in place explaining you don give code first and sellers need to understand this or lose accounts.

Actually pretty much every seller that sells these items does so in contravention of ebay policies.  Buyers also need to educate themselves on what protection they have, as they have none when buying digitally delivered items.
