I refunded buyer for non delivery of an item. I put in a claim to Royal mail for lost item. They have responded by showing delivery of item. Buyer is not answering messages. how do i get paid for item? thanks

The only way you can get paid is if the buyer chooses to pay you.
Maybe send one more message saying you are pleased to see they have now received their item and offering them ways to pay.
You can't send another invoice through Ebay but you can share your bank details so they can pay via bank transfer or you can send them a Paypal payment request.

Unfortunately this happens all the time. eBay allows buyers to claim a refund when an item is even a day overdue for delivery. Surprise, surprise, some will then keep the item as well when it arrives.
eBay gives sellers no support at all when this happens - even with tracking proof of delivery.
eBay could easily amend the user agreement so that the buyer had to return either the refund or the item if they received both. But they don't seem interested when it's the seller and not the buyer who's the victim. I think it's tantamount to eBay turning a blind eye to buyer on seller fraud on this platform.

Thanks for the reply. It was just the way it happened. It took Royal Mail 3 weeks to deliver item on a 48hr tracking number and six weeks for reply. I messaged back and forth with buyer seemed like an ok guy. It was £20 so not much on the scale of things but i am getting a bit sick of this whether I buy or sell i always seem to come off a looser. cheers. we need some policy changes
