Hello,
I keep getting the following message when trying to purchase a specific item (well 3 different listings, but for the same item):
"The item you are trying to purchase is not available for purchase in your location. You cannot buy this item."
I've been purchasing on eBay with no issues as of last week, but I'm getting this same response for the same item from different sellers. And what's odd is I can purchase other items from the same sellers, just not this one. They are all available for UK shipping and I've contacted one of them about the issue who said, "We have spoken to eBay and they have advised 'I will advise you to ask the buyer to contact eBay for assistance since the buyer cannot buy using their account'". I tried contacting eBay, but the chatbot assistant was useless.
Anyone else had a similar problem and managed to fix it? In case helpful, the item is an "army nvg counterweight" (I've bought army gear from eBay before and, as I mentioned, I'm not having this issue when trying to purchase other army gear from the same buyers, just this specific item).
Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated.
Best,
J

Can you tell us what part of the UK you are located in .

Hi. I'm located in London.

Well that most certainly is not one of the locations a seller can block !
Wonder if there is any restriction on that actual army item? It may have slipped the net to be listed but buyers are blocked from buying it?
All I can suggest is to contact eBay Customer Services, but only very first thing in the morning when the lines first open there's more chance of Dublin answering, only speak to them. It's a Call Back option so you'll hear if the dulcet Irish tones.
Please do come back to us if you receive an answer which makes sense, it may help us to help others facing a similar issue.
This is the easiest and quicket way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

Hi again.
Thanks for the contact number, I'll give them a go tomorrow morning and will post back if I have any joy.
In the meantime, if there's anyone out there whose found a fix, please post here.
Thanks again.
