A buyer I've had recently has been very difficult to deal with, sending me a large amount of emails (always polite but with an 'edge' to them)
I have been questioned on dispatch, tracking and the actual item (a sealed blu ray which took him almost 3 weeks to contact me about an alleged problem) he then left a neutral feedback and started a return but now complains about he won't get full refund as he pays for the return. I always post out on time, the item is tracked and I take great care in item descriptions and I state on my listings as many sellers do that buyer pays for return postage.
I've checked both his feedback and his feedback left for others and many other sellers have had issues with this buyer. I am done with this buyer and I'm begging for help and advice from ebay and getting nowhere.
I have tried everything and I know but I can't do anything to please this person. he is now threatening me with trading standards....any ideas on what I can do as I have done everything right and I know the item was excellent as it was brand new and sealed - it was not loose in the box. I've traded on ebay for over 20 years and never had a customer like this.
Any ideas please, thanks

If you've accepted the return let it run its course. Don't reply to him again and put his ID on your blocked bidder list:

Grin and bear it. It'll be over soon. Hopefully you won't get one like him again.

To be completely honest, I would block them so they can't buy from you again but then ignore them.
Don't reply to the feedback, it will only add fuel to their fire.

If he has started a return because it doesn't work, you have to issue a paid for return label within the case.
Sellers always pay for these returns, it's only change of mind ones where the buyer pays.
Have you issued that label?
