postage label size

Under the new easy postage system when you print your postage label .

Do you have to select label size at printing or will it always be smaller than the box or packet size .

They usually print as a 4x6 size label. So if you had a printer label or not. I suspect the only way you can manipulate is via your printer settings. But don’t make too small as scanners will not be able to read.
