postage label discrepancy

The buyer has paid just under £3.00 for postage but i am only being offered labels for £5 and more. It is a lightweight dress. I don't understand why the postage label is more money than it usually is. Do i need to ask the buyer for more money? what do i do in this situation?

You can not ask the buyer for more postage

You put the amount on the item description and that is what they pay.

If you cant find the postage on ebay if that is how you buy it then go to the courier or RM site online and buy there.

RM small packet up to 2kg £3.19 ( going up I think in a couple of dayd)  a bit extra 20p if you are taking to PO but there are other postage options on Evri and other couriers

You need to check sizes carefully

Is your buyer in Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland or Chanel Islands?

Evri abd other couriers charge an additional fee for these so as redwick1 says use Riyal Mail to send just let the buyer know the change of carrier.
