nothing selling for over a month

the past month my sales have gone right down from about 10-15 sales a day to 1-2 a day, i have 2000 items All promoted for sale and i have been reducing all the prices to a point where i was'nt making any profit, i gave up in the end and reset all the prices back to when i first listed them, i even contacted ebay to ask if there was any problems with my listings, they said no and it could be due to the weather and try reducing your prices, i am a top rated seller now but last december i was put below standard for reasons out of my control and i still made more sales in that month than i am now, i have also noticed i was getting more veiws aday that december than i am now, this is my only income and it is impossible for me to survive on what i am getting from ebay so i have decided to not sell items under £12 because there is no profit in it, i am now going through my listings and slowly removeing them and i will take them to a car boot sale instead

Best solution, I only sell cheap collectables, but ebay has become dead, good job it was only a hobby and not to live on.

Promoting listings seems to me that if it works, more money for ebay, if it does not work, then hard luck seller.  Views and Watchers have become almost extinct, I do not think ebay have any idea of the damage some of their “improvements” have done to sellers both private and business and ebay itself.
