no variations option

Hi,

No matter how I try, I can't make a listing with a varialtions option. I've tried Advanced, simple and the new listing tool and seller hub. I've tried copying somebody else listing with similar items but that didn't work.

I am selling electronic components and I see other people have variations so it's definitely allowed. What am I doing wrong please?

You are a private seller and therefore do not need variations. If you do then you should be registered as a business seller.

As I see you are selling NEW items, so are selling illegally and need to register correctly before eBay force it.

Ah I see. I just selling my dad's stuff off. He was an engineer so had
stocks of things.
