newish to ebay selling a voucher that you send the code via ebay message

 Sellers that are Selling CEX vouchers and then after sale they send the code or a pic of the voucher after payment received , but I listed one and then had to put either postage or collection in person , as you would a normal item . It sold and the buyer received the voucher and left me feedback ( all good ) , but as it has not been posted and does not have tracking,  ebay do not recognize that its been delivered and then payment does not get sent for weeks ( feb 22 )

How do other sellers get paid quickly ?, as the ones that have been sold previously are all sold with free 1st class postage even though the codes are being sent via ebay . They cannot all be waiting weeks to get paid, surely

You can't prove delivery so will need to wait until your payment is no longer held.

Unless you send the code via mail you leave yourself wide open to an eBay or PayPal item not received claim, or a not received chargeback.

Scammers trawl listings looking for codes that are being sent via email.

that worried me , but I saw so many of the vouchers being sent this way by sellers with very high feedback I thought there must be a way that they are doing it without the risk and being paid quickly , maybe its one to leave alone , thanks for the reply

There are policies on selling digitally delivered items,  maybe the other listings are abiding by them.

I will read up on it and try to list it correctly the same as the other sellers
