how do I get support with eBay staff as a live chat as there is a question regarding the new HMRC rules I'd like to find out about as what info I'm after isn't on the HMRC web link or the forum and I need to know the answer t my question B4 I start selling!

Ebay won't be able to tell you anything about UK tax law as they are mainly based in the Phillipines and speak from a script.

Best to get your informaton from  the tax office.

Ask your question in here - somebody will try to answer it or will direct you to a reliable source.

There are not really any 'new HMRC rules'.

What has changed is that, in January 2025, Ebay will have to report sales made by (some) Ebay members to HMRC.

The actual tax rules and liabilities have not changed.
