knives policy unfair!

So my listing for a vintage 1960's cuttlery set was removed for "violating our knives policy"! because it contained a carving set. Yet there are thousands of knife block sets with some vicious looking carving knives in them and even great big meat and bone choppers for sale all over Ebay!. It seems the policy doesn't extend to the mass Chinese imports that have taken over Ebay!. I can't even appeal because the box for writing my appeal in keeps telling me "Details Invalid"! I'm corkscrewed!! 15 years I've been on Ebay and I have never dropped below 100% feedback, never had a listing removed before either!. The cuttlery set was found clearing out my late aunts place and was too good to just chuck in the tip, which sadly is where it is going today!.

Nooo,  don't chuck it in the tip,  it's sounds like a lovely set and probably worth taking to the nearest Auction house, for them to sell.

Yes,  you may see hundreds / thousands of similar items,  items do slip the net and become listed as there are over 7 bllion listings on at any one time so impossible to check each and every one.  Also, laws  can be different if being shipped from a different country.

Those that have broken those rules,  when they are spotted and reported like yours was,  they too will be removed.

Your item has been flagged  up, spotted and reported so it cannot be relisted on eBay, but do try and sell it elsewhere,  if an antique,  then it's too good to just tip.
