i have just been informed by eBay that any sales via UK to USA will not be able to send a invoice with the postage amount because of tariff problem regardless if you have enrolled in GPS [ which is not compulsory ] or not . it will not matter if item is made in UK or under the $800 sales limit . so if you have sold a item to USA you have lost a sale and will have cancel order until sorted out. this is the message you will receive .
invoices cannot be sent for item where eBay manages all or part of the postage these item are excluded from the invoice .
1st noticed on 24 july . customer services had no idea or knowledge of this till i spoke to a eBay overseas specialist agent on 29 /07/2025
it started with me scheduling listing and selecting the delivery details section . postage policy and clicking on 3 dots to right of box and selecting edit policy and select / turn on international postage and destination and ticking world wide then clicking save at bottom as advised by customer service and when item went live a person from USA won items and in my sold section told me to send invoice and that's when i received the message above . i spoke to 7/10 different eBay advisers who gave me different reasons conflicting solutions i asked to speak to a manger many times and one was scheduled to call me between 9 -1pm on 29 07 /2025 which never happed so recalled customer service again and explained every thing again and was but through to i believe a overseas specialist who explained what was happing as per 1st paragraph at top .but was not told when will be fixed or restart and after checking all the eBay news and community news. still cant find any thing and now has happened to a 3 item sold to USA that a eBay adviser checked personally and said was all ok and turned on. item No 336020140701 i need help urgently
