how to revise a listing

ebay won't let us edit a listing, they're very controlling, any ideas?

What are you trying to change? It is very difficult to answer a question when there is no question.

Editing is simple enough, ebay would only prevent editing if something broke the rules.

You won't be able to revise it if you have bids or have had any offers.   But you should be able to add to the description.  It will in a separate box below the original one.

If there is less than 12 hours to run on an auction or there are bids , you cannot revise anything on the auction.

Nothing controlling,  just that those are the rules.

Have you sent offers out to the watchers?

If you have offers pending, you can't make changes.

You have a few auctions with les than 12 hours to run,  if it's one of those, you cannot with that time remaining,  revise the auction.

good point I sent offer but no responses, how long until offer to watchers expires?

I think it is 96 hours (4 days) now although all of the information on Ebay still says 24 hours.  It changed fairly recently.

So, you can't change listings until offers expire.
