ebays pathetic idea of postal rates question

i had a cd delivered from a seller which had a £1.50 charge on it because the potage was not enough. The seller told me thats what ebay set it at. I have noticed this as well. Postage prices are not enough and can never find a way to edit the cost. Can anyone explain a route to go, please. I have just sold 3lps to one buyer and the postage ebay said is £2.75 which is not even close. It will be £3.45 minimum and a 30p extra for pick up.

Most of your items show a postage charge of £3.38.  That is the cost for Simple Delivery if you choose to only use Royal Mail.

That covers a small parcel 1-2kg.  if the charges are not enough, and the Simple Delivery labels don't cover the items you are sending, you will have to change the parcel size on your listings.

The price you quote is what you would pay if you didn't print the Simple Delivery label that your buyer has paid for.  If you choose to have items collected and pay the additional fee of 30p, you can't pass that charge onto your buyer.

The price list is here.

ebays pathetic idea of postal rates question

A small parcel up to 2 kg is £3.45. When i set up a sale all i get is royal
mail and evri, evri should be called evri parcel lost. Never use them, if I
tick royal mail only, it never ever gives the right rate. So if I put a
sale on as a medium parcel am I not lying to the buyer ?. Ebay need to stop
ruining the experience

Ebay charge your buyers £3.38 and then provide a label.  The prices, from the link I sent you, are below.  £3.45 is what RM charge for a Tracked 48 small parcel.  The idea of Simple Delivery is that you, the seller, don't pay the charge.  Your buyer pays Ebay the slightly lower rate of £3.38 and you print the label Ebay provide.
