If the item doesn't appear in your Purchase History, it seems you made this as a Guest Purchase, and your eBay account was not used.
The process for a refund is explained in the link below.
Do not open a case for item not received, but one for item not as described.... Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.
Do not close the case early for any excuse the seller may make.

thank you tressygirl yes i did order as a guest but it went through ebay all the emails from the seller are via ebay i have order numbers dates for delivery dozens of emails from the seller . i tried the link you gave me but got no where ????? is it possible for you to email me direct

it looks like i have no chance of a refund from the seller but i warn
all e bayers give these thieves a wide miss DO NOT BUY OFF THESE
SCAMMERS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF GIVE THEM A WIDE BERTH

You need the email you got from Ebay when you bought as a guest, not an email from the seller.
If you can't find that email, this link may help. Don't forget to open a return as advised stating the item was 'not as described'. You may need to send the empty box back so don't throw it away.
To start a return request or report a problem with an item you bought as a guest, you'll need your order confirmation email. This is the email we sent at the time of your purchase with all your order details. The subject line starts with "Order Confirmed".
If you can't find your guest order confirmation email, select the button below and we'll send you a link to your order details.

Did you click on the button ' Find Guest Order Details' in that link? That will give you a copy of your confirmation email ?
If you're using the app switch if you can to a laptop / PC and use Chrome see if that helps.
