ebay have cancelled an order but buyer has already received item

Had a message from ebay telling me they've cancelled an order and not to send the item as the buyer's account has been closed but the buyer has already received the item!!!

There's nothing you can do if you've already sent it.    The buyer's account may have been suspended for reasons that won't affect you.    All you can do is wait and see.

Do you know if ebay will try and take the funds back from me due to it possibly being fraudulent?

You would only have received the money if the buyer had paid so it is unlikely they will take the money from you to return it to the buyer.

The last time this happened to me, it was about a month after the sale.  Obviously I had sent the item and the buyer in question was actually a repeat buyer of mine.

Probably best not to worry about it.
