eBay claim the items I am selling are counterfeit even though they are completely genuine.

eBay has again blocked my advertised item claining that they are counterfeit - they are NOT, they are completely genuine.  Can even register the warranty with Apple which proves they are genuine.  Why do ebay keep blocking this advert without any proper explanation?

Apple are a member of the Vero programme and don't like their products being sold on ebay, especially if new and sold by a private account.

No-one really thinks they are fake, 'counterfeit' is just the phrase ebay uses indiscriminately when they are asked to remove a listing by the rights owner.

I think you will find it is Apple who ask ebay to remove under the VERO scheme.

Relisting having been removed could get you suspended.

In effect it is just poor definitions.  "Premium brands" do not want their items sold on websites such as this and so register with VeRO.

If you think about it in most listings on eBay there is no way to really determine whether an item is "counterfeit".

How is this infringing anyones Intellectual Property Rights?  This ebay policy effectively means that nothing can be sold on ebay by using the manufacturers name in the description, complete madness!
