eBay changes the price of my advert on listing

I posted a listing to sell my car N° 187710439599.
I put it for Buying at a fixed price of £ 39800 with possibility of offers, but when I checked on the listing it has been modified to £ 47760.

I tried all the options with revising the listing but this PB is persistent.

Help will be appreciated as there is no help from eBay and chat.

Thanks Alain

Hi,

Your car's advert is showing £39,800 collect from Sheffield UK.

I noticed on your eBay account the paintings you are selling are for collection from France.

I mention this as eBay may be mixing up the car's price by adding VAT at 20% not realising the car's location is in UK.

Yes you are right, the difference is actually 20 %.
But the question is how do I put this right when everything for location
is filled in correctly ?

Hi,

It may be just a blimp with eBay automotive system, and it changed back itself.

I would contact eBay and confirm that it is okay to go forward with this sale of a vehicle location in Sheffield UK with an UK address.  As you have other adverts (at the same time) for items located in France. (I would get a copy of the conversation/message with eBay, just in case the 20% reappears after the sale).

Thanks again you are right about that.
As I said I have already sent a mail to Customer services, but do not
have a copy of it. I quoted the item number and the wrong prices of + 20 %
