eBay app now needs ios17 !

ios 17 is not supported on my device and so from today I cannot run the app and instead use the web interface! 

No other app has yet imposed this restriction!

Ebay are no longer supporting old operating systems. 

They are however trying to resolve issue, don't hold your breath.

Banking apps do not even need ios 17 !!
