delivered item not showing as delivered on the tracking

I printed the label off on ebay for an item I sold. This was sent to the buyer who has reported that they received it, over a week ago. Tracking on the Royal Mail item does not show as being delivered?

Important thing is buyer did receive item.

Not all posties scan on delivery.

There is also any issue that ebay system does not update even when RM website shows delivered.

Ebay/RM are working on this.

If you're looking at the tracking on ebay there is a problem with delayed updates.    You'd be classed as a new seller so ebay will put payments on hold for up to 30 days anyway, regardless of delivery confirmation.
