customer service!

Hey eBay community, 

 

Is anyone else having the same experience with the customer service? The help me/contact us automated service is quite truly the worst I have ever come across. 

Impossible to get to the point where you get a call back, repeated same questions. When you do reach the call back, they quote timeframes that are not even remotely close to being accurate. When they do call, the line cuts off and they do not call you back. This is a sham and a complete violation of the trust customers have in eBay. I’ve been a member 13 years and the service has massively dropped. 

Please advise on how best to speak to a human on this abysmal contact service.

It really does depend on the time of day you contact CS as to whether you get an automated assistant or a ' live agent'.

 

To Contact Customer Services I recommend using the link below for a Call Back option, and call as close to 8 a.m. on weekdays as possible, for live agents, and then,   there's also more chance then, of Dublin answering.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to10 p.m. on weekdays.


9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends


You will find automated assistants  outside these hours.

If you want to explain your issue in the forum, experienced members will try to help.

Otherwise, you will have to use the callback system.
