To all sellers on eBay 

do not use Evri/Hermes as they are unreliable they do not deliver on time and just dump parcels on 

doorsteps despite the weather they don't knock on the door to let buyer know item is there as a result with seller issuing a refund to buyer. they are running a rubbish service they changed there name from Hermes to Evri thinking it will improve but did not , just look at there website there are more complaints I don't think they even have a good review

they are useless they should not be running as a courier

We get many posts like yours describing horror stories of how Evri deliver items.

However!

I've said it here before,  we have the most fabulous Evri delivery lady.  She's always on time, sends me a few messages per item to inform me of the parcel's journey, the date and time of delivery.  Shame she cannot be cloned!

It does depend on the delivery person you have in your area, so yes, you have a ' bad egg' so you'll need to avoid Evri, select sellers who do not offer Evri as a postage option, or message the seller before buying to ensure they do not offer this service,  sellers can completely exclude Evri if they wish, some will also do this if asked.

Glad you are happy with your driver

that’s just one even without the Christmas rush

even before delivery from depot I get messages running behind estimate not acceptable

I'll support @tressygirl too whilst I don't like Evri very much, we have a fab lady who delivers our stuff, even gives our dog a gravy bone when she turns up with parcels for us.

We seen endless posts like yours, and most of them have nothing to do with ebay, you need to take your gripe up with Evri not us.
